Looking for an associate with 3-5 years of solid corporate lending experience. It is desirable that this candidate has experience working with a broad spectrum of bank and non-bank financial institutions in syndicated and club transactions, both senior and subordinated, involving domestic and international credit facilities for direct and sponsored transactions.

The New York office of Winston & Strawn LLP is looking for an associate with 3-5 years of solid corporate finance experience to join our 60+ attorney corporate department. The ideal candidate should have experience working with a broad spectrum of bank and non-bank financial institutions in a variety of transactions and should also be familiar with corporate lending, securities, mergers and acquisitions, workouts and restructuring.  All candidates should have large law firm experience and exceptional law school academic credentials.

The New York office of Winston & Strawn LLP is looking for an associate with 3-5 years of solid private equity experience to join our 60+ attorney corporate department.  The ideal candidate should have experience in fund formation and investments, leveraged buyouts, private equity and venture capital funds and their respective portfolio companies.  The candidate will also have familiarity with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate finance, securities transactions, workouts and restructurings.  All candidates should have large law firm experience and exceptional law school academic credentials. 

Winston & Strawn LLP has an opening for an associate in the labor and employment department of the San Francisco office.  Applicants should have strong litigation skills, as well as at least 4 years of traditional labor law experience, including advising clients on labor contract administration, grievance handling, and experience in labor arbitrations and litigation before the National Labor Relations Board.  Candidates must be admitted to the California bar.  

In addition to excellent academic credentials and law firm experience, the candidate should possess strong analytical, writing and verbal skills.

The position will include (i) U.S. patent prosecution in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and healthcare, including counseling, opinions regarding patentability, infringement and validity; (ii) foreign prosecution; (iii) appeals to the US Patent & Trademark Office; (iv) patent litigation, including document review and production, drafting of pleadings, and preparation of expert witnesses for testimony; and (v) due diligence and licensing matters for transactions in the pharmaceutical industry.
